Windsurf with Nbility
Windsurf BYOK and custom endpoints are separate capabilities. First confirm that your version can change the service address, not only accept an official provider key.
Configuration entry point
Look for Custom / OpenAI Compatible in Models / BYOK settings. If a Base URL field exists, add a Nbility connection using the values below and select it in a new Cascade conversation.
Connection details
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | OpenAI Compatible / Chat Completions |
| Base URL | https://api.nbility.ai/v1 |
| API key | Dedicated token from Token management |
| Model ID | Exact ID from Models |
This table applies to a base URL field that appends /chat/completions. Follow the field documentation when a complete endpoint is requested; see Connection basics.
Verification and limits
Official BYOK model and subscription requirements belong to Windsurf. Without a custom URL, this guide provides no direct integration; alternatives include Cursor, Cline, and Zed Agent.
Send a short message in a new conversation and check the request and model in Usage logs. With no log, inspect the active provider and network first. With a failed request log, use the error guide.
