Compatibility

Kiro with Nbility

Kiro product login and built-in model selection are not generic OpenAI-compatible provider configuration. An arbitrary base URL entry has not been confirmed for the version covered here.

Check client capabilities

Check official release documentation for custom inference endpoints. An Nbility key cannot substitute for AWS or product account credentials, and a global OPENAI_BASE_URL does not mean Kiro reads it.

Requirements for direct integration

  • An independently configurable inference URL, not merely a product backend address.
  • Support for one of Nbility’s Chat Completions, Responses, Messages, or Gemini protocols.
  • An Nbility token and an exact ID from Models.

Without these, “accepts an API key” does not mean “supports Nbility.” An Nbility token does not log into a third-party product.

Available alternatives

For terminal coding, see OpenCode, Codex CLI, or Claude Code. For an editor sidebar, see Cline.

Those guides provide concrete endpoint settings. Verify token and model access with Connection basics, then check the client request separately. A working model API does not demonstrate that this product is integrated.
